Clear tasks that describe what the team collectively does when attacking and defending

Attacking
Score goals by keeping the ball to play through, around or over
Defending
Stop goals by protecting the middle, staying compact and pressing the ball
The team tasks are intentionally simple, so that players develop a universal understanding of the game. Based on the idea that we want ‘365 players’ (who can play for anyone, anywhere, anytime), the main mantras within the team tasks are designed to be applicable for any formation or style of play.
Accordingly, players who develop an understanding of these universal team tasks will be able to understan how these apply within different game models that they may experience across the pathway.
